Pr Darren Peakall has devoted many years to Christian ministry, serving alongside his lovely wife, Robbie, in the mission fields of the Torres Strait Islands. Their years in cross-cultural ministry have shaped Darren’s deep compassion for people and strengthened his passion for sharing the hope and love of Jesus.
Darren has served as a chaplain and currently ministers as a pastor, bringing a wealth of experience, wisdom and genuine care to his ministry. He has an incredible gift for connecting with people from all walks of life, with a particular passion and ability to engage with young people.
As a speaker, Darren is dynamic, engaging and inspiring. He has a natural ability to communicate biblical truth in a way that is relatable, practical and memorable. His warmth, authenticity and fantastic sense of humour make him a speaker who connects easily with audiences and brings both encouragement and joy to his ministry.
Above all, Darren’s ministry is characterised by a genuine love for people and a desire to see lives transformed through a relationship with Jesus.
Shalem Health Retreat, situated in the south west forests of Australia, will be the venue for the youth camp this year. Participants must bring a tent/swag/caravan for accommodation.
Guardians are required for participants under age 16 and must apply as either a participant or staff member.
